At the same time my mother is in transition ... into her eldest elder years where she needs to live with someone very soon. Can I do all three?
At the same time, my children and grandchildren live nearby and I do not want to lose touch with them, though my role in their lives has changed as they are both in school now. Can I do all four?
At the same time I have a personal story to tell that is relevant and important both to me, and I think, to the world. Can I do all five?
At the same time I see the world of food and health coming to a crisis. I want to cultivate a postage stamp garden, make food old fashioned ways, and teach others how to do that. Can I do all six?
At the same time, in the past three years I have given up my physical practices of yoga and dance, and become quite physically and emotionally weak. I want/need to get that into my life again. Can I do all seven?
Seven is a heavenly perfect number. and one is the first place to begin. I believe I will start with my body scan, then mountain stand, then come to the mat in the morning and evening for energy strength and breath. I will begin to dance again. add writing, keep working for three more months. Start a compost. Make good food.
Oh I almost forgot ... there is more: I want better relationship with my brothers, a network of freinds, and a significant loving relationship with a man. That makes ten; Can I do all ten? That is the earthly perfect number.
Commitment, one step at a time.
